Can tickets be refunded once purchased?

This FAQ outlines the refund policy for Decibel ticket purchases. Here’s a breakdown of the key points:

  1. Non-refundable under normal circumstances: Once a ticket is purchased, it is typically non-refundable, except in certain cases.
  2. Event Hosts’ own terms: If an Event Host has their own refund policy, it is separate from Decibel’s, and any issues related to that must be dealt with directly with the Event Host.
  3. Event cancellation by Event Host: If the event is canceled by the Event Host, Decibel will process refunds, but the refunded amount will be the original purchase price minus fees and taxes (typically around 10%).
  4. Refund method: Refunds are issued to the same card used for the original purchase.
  5. Transferred tickets: If a ticket has been transferred to another person, that new user must provide their banking details for a refund, as the original purchaser no longer has rights to a refund once ownership is transferred.
