How do I create an event?

  1. Log Into Your Account
    • After creating your Event Host profile, log into the site. You’ll see My Events and My Dashboard added to the navigation menu.
  2. Add New Event
    • Click on My Events > Add New to get started.
  3. Fill Out Event Details
    • Event Title & Description: Provide a clear title and detailed description (e.g., about the event, DJs/musicians, times, costs, etc.).
    • Start & End Dates: Select the start/end date and times for your event. If it is an All Day Event (as in the full day) click the All Day Event box
If it is a Recurring Event, tick the Recurring Event box. You can then choose if this event recurs daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. You can also set an exception to the Recurring Event e.g. you have an event that occurs weekly on a Friday BUT on the last Friday of the month it does not.
    • Event Category: Choose a category. If yours is not listed, select the closest option. We can update it later if needed.
    • Event Tags: You can skip this for now.
    • Virtual Events: This option is displayed but is not yet fully activated.
  1. Event Status
    • Leave the Event Status as Scheduled.
  2. Venue
    • Under Venue, type the venue name in the Create or Find venue field. If it’s not listed, you can create it.
  3. Organiser
    • Select Yourself as the organiser.
  4. Website/URL
    • Enter your website or any URL with additional event info.
  5. Additional Fields
    • Private or Public:
      • Select Public if everyone can view and purchase tickets.
      • Select Private if you want only a specific group to access the event (e.g., for Loyalty Program members). If private, set a password to restrict access.
  6. Tickets Setup
  7. Submit Event
  • After filling everything out, click the Submit Event button at the bottom. This will notify us to review and approve the event. If there are any issues or missing information, an account manager will contact you.

This process helps ensure your event is properly set up before it’s published. Let us know if you need more help with any part.
