BIBLIOTECH: The Storyteller Returns: 12 Weeks / 4 Genres / Tech on Repeat CHAPTER 2: PSY-TECH
Presented by ABSOLUT
A forbidden volume has been removed from the shelves. Something in the Archive has shifted. The frequencies are different here — distorted, magnetic, impossible to ignore. Deadbeat FM takes the helm for Chapter Two, leading the crowd on a Psy-Tech expedition into uncharted sonic territory.
Archivists Zoda and Spooj are your guides through a chapter where sound bends time and perception gives way to something far more interesting. Don't come looking for solid ground.
📚 MAIN NARRATOR
Deadbeat FM | 22:30 – 01:30 | Library Stage
Deadbeat FM is dedicated to bringing a vulgar new sound to psychedelic techno, delving into a range of styles and influences. As explosive as it is versatile — if it makes use of dirty bass lines, solid drums and driving leads, you can be sure to find it on the DBFM playlist. Also known as Deliriant and one half of Miles From Mars, Deadbeat FM has an unruly and expansive music collection.

📖 ARCHIVISTS
Opening (21:00 | Annabelle Stage): Zoda X Mowat
An audiophile through and through, Zoda's current love lies in Psytech, though her sound remains versatile and ever-evolving. Deeply rooted in the psytrance scene, she delivers intentional, groove-driven sets designed to take listeners on a journey.
Closing (01:30 | Annabelle Stage): Spooj
Splooj is the project of Luke Weyer. He believes the funk is a living creature. The project began after learning to DJ along the Garden Route and first took real shape in Hanoi, Vietnam with Liquid Hive. Clubs and festivals soon followed, including Mystery Mountain, Gingerworks, Odyssey Tribe and Vibe Nation. After returning to Cape Town, Splooj reset its roots featuring at Alien Safari, Vortex, Organik and Origin. Signed to Universal Tribe Records, the project continues to explore the spaces where the funk takes on a life of its own.
