State Alchemy presents: The Gateway

Every journey begins with a decision to step through.

On the 7th of November, State Alchemy returns with a new event concept - The Gateway. This will be our most ambitious and diverse event to date. For one night, we’ll be taking over the entirety of Biblio and transforming it into three distinct dance floors, each representing a different side of Cape Town’s underground electronic music scene. With something for everyone, The Gateway is a chance to step beyond the familiar and discover new sounds and artists you may not have encountered before!

Across 12 hours of music, 18 acts will take to our stages, with 12 of them making their State Alchemy debut. The lineup brings together familiar faces from the State Alchemy family, some of Cape Town’s finest local talent and three special guests travelling down from Johannesburg for the occasion.

Whether you spend the night locked into one floor or moving through every corner of the venue, your journey is yours to choose. Some doors lead somewhere familiar. Others open onto something entirely unexpected. Step beyond The Gateway and discover what’s waiting on the other side.
